How to Catch: A cast net is
by far the best bet for catching striped mullet. You may also
use rod and reel, many prefer a cane pole. Striped mullet are
algae feeders but will sometimes mouth baits, so you have to
have a keen eye to watch your float. The slightest movement of
your cork is a good indication a mullet is mouthing.
Most all large game fish will feed on
Striped Mullet including: Tarpon, Snook, Cobia, Sharks of all
species, Redfish, large snapper, grouper etc...
